The Prosperity Christian Resource and Community Housing Development Center, Inc., Establishes Internet PresenceThe Prosperity Christian Resource and Community Housing Development Center, Inc., makes the vital step of "going cyber" with its ministry.April 15, 2005 By Brenda K. Banks The Prosperity Christian Resource and Community Housing Development Center, Inc., today unveiled its Web site, which houses an array of information about its Christian Missions, Community Resources and Services, Career Training and Education Programs, Community Housing and Home Ownership Opportunities, planning, progress, and events. This site is designed to reach a growing number of individuals who increasingly use the internet to gain information, conduct daily business and lead healthier, happier, stable, peaceful, well rounded, better quality of lives. "Today's Launch marks the first time The Prosperity Christian Resource and Community Housing Development Center has established a presence on the Web. This site is specifically designed to provide the public with updates and information about our center," said Gwendolyn Yvette Foster, Founder and President of The Prosperity Christian Resource and Community Housing Development Center. "We know that the Internet has increasingly become part of everyday life for many Americans. Launching this Web site is an integral component of our ongoing efforts to be responsive to the needs of the community through the use of modern technology. With computers in more than half of U. S. households, and more than one in five seniors online, we hope our site can serve as a vehicle to effectively communicate our mission, goals, events, programs, resources, and progress on a broader scale. Twenty-two percent of seniors, about 8 million, were Internet users in 2004, up from 15 percent in 2000, according to a recent study conducted by the Pew Internet and American life Project. This group of seniors, together with the country's 78 million baby boomers, make up the fastest growing Internet population. We are looking to the future as we prepare for this historic event " said Foster. For More Information Contact: and Community Housing Development Center, Inc.
