Purpose How May We Connect With You? - Christ caring for people through people...
In a spiritual sense, in terms of "food and water", what is being expressed was described by our Lord in John 4:14 as, "..whoever drinks the water I give him, will never thirst. In terms of "shelter", while we don't have a cathedral that took 500 years to build, what we do seek to give the inquirer is a sense that we all live in God's house, the roof of which spans the heavens. In terms of "relationship" and "love", we seek to welcome people wherever they happen to be in their spiritual journey. You'll find diversity within our Missions that spans the continuum of reformed Christian tradition. The Prosperity Christian Resource and Community Housing Development Center's Christian Missions provides numerous benefits: 1) an increase in the number of persons who are birthed into the kingdom, 2) strength to neighborhoods and communities, and 3) enrichment to the lives of those who we serve. It is a delight to know that God calls and allows us to join Him in the grand enterprise of winning the world to Christ! Every believer has been commanded to share to the good news of forgiveness, salvation, and renewal through faith in Jesus Christ. We fulfill our purpose and calling as Christians when we serve as our Savior's ambassadors of reconciliation. This task would be overwhelming if we did not have the promise of our Lord that He will be with us and that the Holy Spirit will direct and empower us. Additionally, as Christians we walk in the path paved by countless individuals of faith who have preceded us. The Bible and history have recorded the examples of our forefathers and foremothers who sacrificed much to follow Christ and to share their faith with others. Truthfully, to follow Christ and to be His ambassadors requires self sacrifice, but it is replaced with the joy and satisfaction of knowing that we are pleasing God. Through Prosperity Christian Missions, individuals have exciting opportunities and the satisfaction of knowing that they are obeying Christ's Great Commission. This is accomplished in supportive environments that only Christians can give. The center's staff and volunteers are dedicated to serving the community. The heart of Prosperity Christian Missions is to enable individuals to:
The Prosperity Christian Resource and Community Housing Development Center, molds its Christian Missions ministries to fit the needs and concerns of the community. The center's missions include Servants of God, The College Bound Bunch, The Abstinence Option, Drug Free By Choice, and Youth In Action. These missions enrich and strengthen the community and give individuals opportunities to influence the world for Christ.
"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even to the end of the world. Amen." (Matthew 28:18-20).

reasons folks get involved with The Prosperity Christian Resource and Community
Housing Development Center's Christian Missions are as varied as each
individual participant, however, a common theme seems to have emerged. Many express what they find at The Prosperity Christian Resource and
Community Housing Development Center, Inc., Christian Missions Ministries is
"a feeling of coming home." In a human sense, "home"
satisfies our basic needs for food, water, shelter and relationship/love.
